Dinah John BA, MRSS (T) Dinah was Cliff's first graduate at the Norwich branch of the Shiatsu College - which she now directs. She has been practising Shiatsu for over 25 years at the Shiatsu Centre. She teaches on the New Energy Work CPD Residential, at the European Shiatsu Institute in Vienna and is one of the regular teachers on the online courses, sharing her wisdom and experience. She is much loved by her students for her warmth, supportive approach, passion for the healing and transformative potential of Shiatsu and for her depth of knowledge.
Nick Pole, MRSS (T) After graduating from Cambridge, he worked as a filmmaker before discovering Chinese Medicine. Since Nickhas been practising, teaching and writing publications about Shiatsu for 20 years, he is also trained in NLP which lead him to Clean Language a highly effective communication practice. Alice Whieldon MA PhD SFHEA MRSS(T) Alice first came across Shiatsu in 1985, along with the Enlightenment Intensives, and she has remained a student of both disciplines ever since. Alice went on to practice Seiki with Shiatsu Master Kishi Akinobu co-authoring Sei-ki: Life in Resonance with him. Alice has had a parallel career working for the Open University teaching a degree level Arts and Humanities she is also a Director of the Shiatsu Society (UK).
Nicola Ley (Pooley) BSc, MA, PGCE Dip. MRSS (T) Nicola Ley has been practising Shiatsu since 1978 and teaching since 1984. Her practice is greatly influenced by pioneering Shiatsu teacher Pauline Sasaki's 'high-energy' work and techniques which Nicola has herself developed, alongside her Qigong practice, into her Lightbody work. Nicola is the author of 'Shiatsu in a Nutshell', is a Qigong teacher trainer and also an artist, illustrating the energy she ‘sees’ while she works.
Paul Lundberg MATCM, MRSS (T) Paul Lundberg, co-founder of The Shiatsu College, has studied and taught various aspects of Eastern Traditional Medicine since 1972, originally qualifying in Acupuncture, which he practised for many years. He also studied Seiki with Akinobu Kishi and was closely involved with his developing work over a period of 31 years. He is the author of 'The Book of Shiatsu'. Paul is a tutor on the Residential and is also a regular guest presenter on our advanced TCM online courses.
